So a bit of insider information: apparently the Mets are now the only baseball team that’s allowed to feature an image of an apple (at least in the NY market?). This stems from the fact that the Mets have an actual “Home Run Apple” statue at their stadium. Although this logo focuses more on the fact that the Mets call “the Big Apple” their home, it’s also a nice double relation to that iconic statue. Regardless, the red and green contrast beautifully against the Light Royal wool. Don’t pass on the only team allowed to feature apples, featuring an apple.
